I was born in 1944 in West London where I spent a short time at Ealing Art College after gaining 'A' level GCE in Art. After working in west and central London, I then moved with my family to Wirral where I established a fine art, picture framing and giclee printing business becoming a Premier Art Centre for Winsor & Newton. My home and studio is now in North Wales where I have now lived for 25 + years in both Flintshire and Denbighshire. Now retired from business my time is spent painting to exhibit and I am constantly inspired by the glorious area in which I live.
Much of my time has been teaching and demonstrating in either retail, NEC or art clubs.
Coast and countryside is my passion; I love the old farms and dwelling places, the historical harbours and old fishing boats; I enjoy hugging the coast line of the UK, sitting on harbour walls, in my wellies up my local fishing creeks of the Dee Estuary, or just out in the hills with my sketch book and camera capturing the next interesting view for those inclement days in my studio.
There have been many solo exhibitions over the years and also joint and open exhibitions.
